Father, i want to trust you in everything. help me to see you. Help me to feel you all around me. you’re closer than my breath. You are with me. Wherever I go. help me to come to you with all things. To pour out my heart to yours. Be my peace Lord. Keep evil far from me. Hold me in your peace, Lord. Lift up my head. Please Father, give me the strength. you’re all I need. You’re my everything, the Shepherd of my soul. You are my anchor. you are my steadfast. My faithful strength. You are with me wherever I go.
We went to the ocean the other day. I felt such peace there. The Lord has always spoken to me through nature. He reminded me that His thoughts for me outnumber the grains of sand on the seashore. As I looked at the sand that had grains so small it seemed like it was a powder, I couldn’t fathom the amount the Lord thinks about me. Even by touching the sand with my finger tip I couldn’t begin to count the number of grains that remained on my finger. Or how the Lord’s love is greater than the drops in the ocean. The ocean that is so vast and wide. I felt so much peace this weekend.
“By awesome deeds you answer us with righteousness, O god of our salvation the hope of all the ends of the earth and the farthest seas; the one who by his strength established the mountains, being girded with might; who stills the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, the tumult of the peoples, so that those who dwell at the ends of the earth are in awe at your signs. You make the going out of the morning and the evening to shout for joy.” Psalm 65:5-8
